Returning: Killing Eve

Double episode fast-tracked to iview, and there's an episode on ABC same day.

The fourth and final series of Killing Eve will be fast-tracked to ABC later this month.

A double episode will drop at 8:30pm Sunday 27th February on iview.

Episode one will also broadcast on ABC TV at 9.30pm.

A new episode will premiere each week on both iview and ABC.

Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer reprise their roles as federal agent Eve Polastri and deadly assassin-for-hire Villanelle, who are once again joined by the talented Fiona Shaw as the tenacious M16 operative Carolyn Martin. This season follows our extraordinary women, each driven by passion, revenge, and obsession, building towards a messy, nuanced and totally glorious season finale.

After the emotional climax of season three, Eve (Sandra Oh), Villanelle (Jodie Comer) and Carolyn (Fiona Shaw) are in very different places. Following Eve and Villanelle’s exchange on the bridge, Eve is on a revenge mission whilst Villanelle finds a brand-new community in an attempt to prove she’s not a ‘monster.’ Having killed her co-worker Paul, Carolyn goes to extraordinary lengths to continue to chase down The Twelve and the person that ordered Kenny’s hit.

The new series of Killing Eve promises more twists and turns, action and mayhem and an ending you won’t see coming.

Production Credits: Sid Gentle Films and BBC America Original production.  Executive Producers: Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Gina Mingacci, Sandra Oh, Laura Neal and Damon Thomas.

Sunday 27th February at 8.30pm on iview.

  1. S2 and 3 were pretty much devoid of any story and rather boring, except for Villanelle’s trip to Russia. Now they are promising to return to hunting The Twelve again in London again. Should we believe them?

  2. That’s not “fast tracked” that’s slow tracked … 7 days after it’s premier on BBC America. Not to mention that the FTA broadcast will effectively be 3 weeks behind from episode 2 onwards.

Then there’s Vera … Sunday 20th is S11E04 but there are six episodes in S11. All 6 episodes have been broadcast/streamed overseas so we Aussies are left behind yet again.

    1. Vera was traditionally premiering on Pay TV a year before ABC, but now closer. ITV UK has screened 4 eps. Britbox US has screened 6.
I know that ABC has had to work around US controls for Killing Eve which are very strict, because I was waiting on the info. Broadcasters often have to work within distributor rules.

    2. The last 2 episodes of Vera S11 have not been broadcast in the UK. They have streamed on Britbox in the US though. The ABC has first run Australian rights, after they are broadcast in the UK. They bought them, along with Midsomer Murders and Endeavour, when 13th Street folded. Sometimes when ITV has planned to sit on episodes for long time they have let the ABC air them before the UK, but sometimes they haven’t. Streaming on Acorn and Britbox is what is funding these mysteries and getting them renewed, seems fair that people may wait to watch them for free.

  3. So often I find, after a long break, when the next series/espisodes come on tv, I’ve lost interest. Not so with Killing Eve, this show has twists and a fire written into it. Such a great match putting these two actors together, they are hard to read as their characters, but are very great talents.
