Renewed: The Bold and the Beautiful

“For 35 years, The Bold and the Beautiful has been a cornerstone of our #1 Daytime lineup,” says CBS.

CBS has renewed The Bold and the Beautiful for two more years, through to the 2023-2024 broadcast season.

“For 35 years, The Bold and the Beautiful has been a cornerstone of our #1 Daytime lineup,” Margot Wain, senior VP of Daytime Programs at CBS Entertainment. “Congratulations to our talented cast and crew, as well as Bradley Bell, who have made this show a creative and ratings success, and thank you to B&B’s dedicated fans, whose passion for these characters and stories is unrivaled.”

A special standalone episode dedicated to original cast member Brooke Logan and five of her “true loves” will screen in the US later this month. It will feature appearances from Jack Wagner, Winsor Harmon, John McCook, Don Diamont and Thorsten Kaye.

“35 years ago, I would have never imagined what was in store,” executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell said in a statement. “Since our premiere in 1987, it’s been a fantastic journey and incredible experience for all of us. We would not be here if not for the invaluable support of CBS and our millions of fans around the globe for their loyalty and support.”

The Bold & the Beautiful still screens in Australia on 10….

  1. Devoted B&B soap fans will be happy, and lets face it if you don’t like this genre no one forces you to watch it. Personally, I gave up on B&B when Ronn Moss left the show, Thorsten Kaye’s ‘Ridge’ with his gruffness and unkempt look did nothing for me, I needed subtitles to understand what he was saying. On a scale of boring B&B as a show is currently 8 out of 10; based on the views of my partner who still watches B&B in the hope the plot will improve at some point.

    1. Like your partner, I find this a ‘must watch’, even if to see if anyone is going to do some shopping, do some cooking, do some work, knock before opening doors, Charlie sacked for allowing random people to wander around Forrester looking at their ‘secret’ latest designs, etc., etc. Does Liam have a job? Thorsten Kaye’s ‘Ridge’ looks like a homeless person with a problem with his vocal cords. Very cringe worthy. It’s so bad it’s good.
