UK police series starring Martin Freeman gets a second season.

UK police series The Responder, starring Martin Freeman, was this week renewed for a second season by BBC.
It is BBC’s second biggest new drama of 2022 so far, launching with nearly 10 million viewers across 30-days.
Series 2 (5×60’) is again written by ex-police officer Tony Schumacher and produced by Dancing Ledge Productions.
The Responder, which is screening in Australia on SBS, will once again be set and filmed in Liverpool.

just watched the first to episode wow the tension remides me of the the bodyguard ,what a great show
I saw this media release and there was another show renewed in the same statement, which I thought was curious. How are they going to get a second series out of “Vigil”?
This is fantastic news. Guess we won’t be seeing this until the middle of next year.
