A very doggy Tuesday

The Dog House has its best numbers this year, while A Dog's World with Tony Armstrong also wins its slot.

There were no bolshie reality shows on offer last night and Nine ran a staggered schedule as it brought Melbourne viewers in sync with Travel Guides, following the Shane Warne Memorial.

That left a bit of a patchwork of shows across viewing, but with loveable mutts winning their respective timeslots.

The Dog House led its slot at 550,000, its best audience this season, then 7:30 (509,000), Why Ships Crash (328,000), People’s Republic of Mallacoota (292,000), Movie: Bohemian Rhapsody (260,000 in 4 cities), Travel Guides (196,000 in Melbourne) and Great British Railway Journeys (145,000).

Later A Dog’s World with Tony Armstrong was 343,000 then Police Strike Force (223,000), NCIS (161,000) and Insight (128,000).

Nine News (889,000 / 880,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair was 632,000 then Hot Seat (416,000 / 256,000). A Crocodile Dundee replay in Melbourne, yes really, was 82,000.

The Project drew 379,000 / 249,000 for 10. 10 News First was 285,000 / 195,000. NCIS: LA was 117,000.
