SKY News People’s Forum: North Sydney

Tom Connell to host debate between Trent Zimmerman, Catherine Renshaw & Kylea Tink.

SKY News has announced a new debate, the SKY News People’s Forum: North Sydney, will be held tomorrow.

Sitting Liberal MP Trent Zimmerman, Labor challenger Catherine Renshaw and Climate 200-backed Independent candidate Kylea Tink will face voters in a three-way showdown.

The forum will be hosted by Chief Election Analyst Tom Connell and feature pre-submitted questions from readers of the Mosman Daily and North Shore Times.

Currently the seat of North Sydney is held by the Liberal Party’s Trent Zimmerman on a margin of 9.3 per cent. However, Mr Zimmerman is battling to save his seat up against businesswoman and Independent Kylea Tink who has raised more than $1 million and Labor candidate Catherine Renshaw, the daughter-in-law of the late former Premier of New South Wales, Jack Renshaw.

The Sky News People’s Forum Marginal Debate Series is a new addition to the Sky News Election 2022 programming schedule. The first forum last Thursday was held in the seat of Wentworth and featured Dave Sharma and Allegra Spender where they debated their views on political integrity, religious freedom, climate, electric vehicles, the boycott Israel movement and foreign affairs.

Thursday April 28 at 2pm AEST on SKY News.
