  1. Aren’t all those international news shows available on the internet? I don’t understand why SBS is needed for that service.

Anyway, great to see ABC Insiders smashing the ratings, as did the election coverage. Despite Murdoch and his goons, Auntie gets stronger every year. Thank goodness!

  2. It would be interesting to see how Sky News rated. They chucked a collective dummy spit when Morrison lost the election, and their reaction on the night was simply embarrassing and cringeworthy. I can’t imagine too many people were impressed by that rather unedifying and unprofessional display of petulance

  3. I would not have known WorldWatch exists had it not been for TVTonight. (I haven’t watched it though). Due to lack of interesting content on SBS lately I’ve seen zero promotion for this channel. Was there any promotion for it beyond I assume commercials on SBS?

    1. I’d be curious as to the Total TV or regional figures for Worldwatch – we’re in a regional area, my parents are Croatian and my Mum has followed the move of the Croatian news from SBS Viceland to the new channel, and has expressed appreciation for the grouping of Macedonian, Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian news together. There may be a “vanishingly small” audience for the new channel, but there is an audience nonetheless.
