Airdate: Tulsa King

Sylvester Stallone stars as a mafia kingpin released from prison after 25 years to find he is exiled by the mob.

Its a long way off but Paramount+ has announced mafia drama Tulsa King, starring Sylvester Stallone, will premiere in November.

The series executive produced by Taylor Sheridan (1883, Mayor Of Kingstown) also stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson and Garrett Hedlund.

Currently in production in Oklahoma City, this is a 10 part series.

Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realising that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters, to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.

The series will be executive-produced by Sheridan, Winter, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin and Allen Coulter. Braden Aftergood is also set to executive-produce.

Tulsa King is the latest addition to Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes 1883, Mayor Of Kingstown and the upcoming series Lioness, 1883: The Bass Reeves Story, Land Man and 1932 (WT).

Two episodes on Monday, 14 November on Paramount+.
