MasterChef Australia filming in Tasmania

Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen are in the apple isle to showcase local produce and locations.

MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites is now filming in Tasmania, as part of a deal with Tourism Tasmania.

Judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen will help showcase Tassie produce and locations in upcoming episodes.

Melissa Leong said, “Tasmania is home to some of the most dramatic and compelling landscapes in Australia. It’s also a hotbed for spectacular food and wine, so we’re thrilled we have this opportunity to explore this wild, dynamic state.”

CEO of Tourism Tasmania John Fitzgerald said, “Tourism Tasmania is delighted to support the production of the MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites episodes in Tasmania that will showcase our state’s premium food and beverage offerings on a national stage.”

Episodes will screen in coming weeks on 10.

    They’ve done well the past few years juggling covid — but getting out of the kitchen for challenges, etc. is desperately needed and very much missed.
