Oops. Clumsy editing on The Voice

The Voice editors take a comment from Rita Ora to one contestant and re-apply it to another.

Who says Reality TV is real?

In a clumsy editing fail on The Voice, coach Rita Ora has given the same audition response to two different singers.

Last night Rita Ora had to reject Caitlin from Sydney, telling her, “I’m not used to having limits on teams… like last season it was unlimited.”

It’s the same words she gave the night before to Emma from Melbourne.

“I’m not used to having limits on teams… like last season it was unlimited. This time round, I’m being so not myself. I’m being so picky, that I’m annoying myself!”

Her physical getsures were also identical.

Despite it’s name Reality TV is a highly-produced genre, with editors able to “frankengrab” comments and shift them around the storyline to suit a narrative.

Last night was a reminder of that which should never have slipped through the net by ITV Studios Australia and Seven network.
