AFL helps Seven win quiet Thursday

Nine scrambled a change to its schedule but Seven still took out the night.

Last night’s numbers are very preliminary given Nine rushed a 60 Minutes episode* to air, so their numbers are based on initial programming.

Seven’s AFL helped them win the night averaging 427,000 across the network.

MasterChef Australia won its slot at 438,000 then RBT (389,000*), 7:30 (375,000) Home & Away (343,000 / 316,000 from 7pm) and Foreign Correspondent (277,000).

Later Emergency was 307,000 then Q+A (208,000), Law & Order: SVU (193,000) and How To Sleep Well With Michael Mosley (169,000).

Seven network won Thursday with 32.2% then Nine 25.5%, 10 16.9%, ABC 15.6% and SBS 9.7%.

Seven News was #1 at 895,000 / 860,000. The Chase again topped entertainment at 514,000 / 335,000. What A Weekend! was 117,000 across the network.

Nine News (821,000 / 807,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair won at 587,000 then Hot Seat (449,000 / 280,000).

The Project was 334,000 / 219,000 for 10. 10 News First 311,000 / 203,000 pulled a replay of The Cheap Seats (118,000).

ABC News pulled 578,000. The Drum (164,000) and One Plus One (121,000) followed.

On SBS it was SBS World News (158,000 / 135,000), and D.I. Ray (135,000), Scenic Coastal Walks With Kate Humble (125,000) and Mastermind (82,000).

Kangaroo Beach led multichannels at 126,000.
