With Sport in play networks again had staggered schedules leading to some lighter numbers in entertainment on Thursday.
The Chase topped entertainment at 516,000 / 317,000 metro viewers.
MasterChef Australia won its slot with 473,000 viewers then 7:30 (426,000), and a Foreign Correspondent rpt at 249,000.
Later Q+A drew 248,000 then Law & Order: SVU (191,000) and House of Maxwell (139,000).
Seven’s AFL was 448,000 across the network with NRL at 269,000 across Nine’s network.
Seven network won Thursday with 32.4% then Nine 25.1%, 10 17.3%, ABC 16.3% and SBS 8.9%.
Seven News was #1 at 888,000 / 842,000. Home & Away was 342,000 across the network (on 7TWO in some cities). with Britain’s Got Talent at 161,000 also across the network.
Nine News (758,000 / 748,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair drew 540,000 with Hot Seat on 393,000 / 256,000. Across the network were Paramedics (146,000) and RBT (135,000) in select cities.
The Project pulled 323,000 / 231,000 for 10. 10 News First was 300,000 / 196,000. A Cheap Seats replay was 95,000.
ABC News won with 565,000. Sammy J (303,000), The Drum (176,000) and One Plus One (126,000) followed.
On SBS it was SBS World News (146,000 / 101,000), Scenic Coastal Walks With Kate Humble and D.I. Ray -which saw a 162% lift in Total TV numbers for last week – (both 98,000) and Mastermind (96,000).
Bluey led multichannels again at a bumper 415,000 / 216,000 over two screenings.

Today Extra: 103,000 / 63,000

From what I see of Julie Goodwin I don’t know why channel ten have not given her her own cooking show. Not a nightly one but during the day. She is quite entertaining.
I watched MasterChef then went to SBS Food…Studio 10: TBA 😮 numbers so low they could not find them ⁉
Gee as much as QandA is suffering this year I am upset that it beat Law and Order SVU which is so sad as it’s still brilliant after 23 years. But it’s so annoying to me as I never miss either and hate it that they are up against each other so often, and I have to work out each week which one I’ll watch live.
