MasterChef, The Weekly score. Nine wins Wednesday.

Seven News tops total people and the demos. Wimbledon action keeps viewers on Nine to late night.

MasterChef Australia continues to lead in the entertainment stakes, last night at 583,000 metro viewers.

That edged out Gruen (536,000), 7:30 (534,000), Australian Ninja Warrior (500,000) and Big Brother (341,000).

Later The Weekly with Charlie Pickering  led with 475,000, followed by Wimbledon (343,000 / 308,000 across the network), You Can’t Ask That (295,000), The Front Bar (282,000) and Five Bedrooms (253,000).

Nine network won Wednesday with 31.6% then Seven 24.2%, 10 18.9%, ABC 16.7% and SBS 8.6%.

Nine News (839,000 / 811,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair (656,000) and Hot Seat (400,000 / 269,000) followed.

Seven News was #1 at 943,000 / 922,000 and topped the demos for Seven then The Chase (545,000 / 347,000) Home & Away (433,000). Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera was 153,000.

The Project drew 404,000 / 265,000 for 10. 10 News First was 315,000 / 232,000 but a Secrets She Keeps replay failed at just 80,000.

ABC News was 559,000 for ABC. Would I Lie to You? (185,000) and The Drum (171,000) followed.

SBS had a tough night with Michael Mosley’s 21 Day Body Challenge (129,000), SBS World News  (128,000 / 113,000), Tour de France (118,000 across the network), True Colours (83,000) and Mastermind (61,000).

Bluey topped multichannels at 125,000.

  1. I am watching 5 Bedrooms….also some of Tour de France…but I really do not care for the new presenters…I am trying…
    MasterChef…great!….Thurs. night was fun!

  2. Interesting to see that Gruen was not in the top few, could it be because Russell Howcroft was missing? I saw that he was nor there and did not go any further, I went back to streaming Prime.
