US science fiction comedy Resident Alien, starring Alan Tudyk, has been renewed for a third season.
Deadline reports the 12 episode season comes ahead of the second block of S2 episodes.
Based on the Dark Horse comics, Resident Alien follows a crash-landed alien named Harry (Tudyk) whose secret mission is to kill all humans. In season two, Harry is once again stranded on Earth where he must confront the consequences of having failed his people’s mission to destroy the human race.
It screens in Australia on 9Now.

Alan Tudyk is such an enigmatic actor. And he’s soon to provide the voice of the mighty Optimus Prime in Nickelodeon/Paramount’s ‘Transformers : Earthspark’.
