Kirsty Bradmore to lead Seven's Supercars coverage.

Seven has appointed Kirsty Bradmore as Seven Motorsport Executive Producer.

Currently Executive Producer for Seven’s 2022 Commonwealth Games, she recently helmed of Seven’s Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 broadcast and led the team for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Head of Network Sport, Lewis Martin, said: “It is with great pleasure that we announce Kirsty Bradmore as our EP of Motorsport.

“Kirsty is an incredible asset to the Seven team and brings a fresh perspective to Seven’s unrivalled motorsport coverage, paired with award-winning sports broadcast credentials.

“As we look ahead, Seven is on track for an extraordinary rest of the 2022 Supercars season, including the premier event on the calendar, the Bathurst 1000,” he said.

“With Kirsty at the helm, we couldn’t be better placed to drive audience growth for Australian motorsport, right here on Your Home of Sport.”

Bradmore said: “While at Seven, I have been lucky enough to work on some of the biggest sporting events in the world and help share the incredible stories of Australian and international athletes on the biggest stage.

“I’m thrilled to dive into the world of motorsport and uncover the stories of some of Australia’s biggest and best athletes, as they draw closer to the final lap of the 2022 Supercars season.

“To be part of a world-class team delivering the iconic Bathurst 1000 is an honour. It’s not called the great race for nothing and I cannot wait to experience the intensity, passion and high-octane action of motorsport,” she said.

  1. When Supercars control and run the entire broadcast (for Fox Sports as well)… Not sure what an EP for Channel 7’s coverage would actually do?

  2. Fairly sure that F1 highlights rights with current holder Ten expire after this (2022) season. Present deal incudes the big ticket bonus of Live coverage of the Australian (Melbourne) race. Given Ten seems increasingly less interested in motorsports I’m tipping this to go to Seven (or perhaps Nine/Stan).

    1. You are correct ,7 has signed the Formula 1 for 5 years 2023 to 2027 showing only the Melbourne GP and highlights ,as per usual Foxtel/Kayo has all the races practising qualifying all Live.
