Prime Video dropped a new teaser for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power yesterday to subscribers.
Another will be released on July 14.
The big budget series will premiere on September 2nd.

After how poorly Prime handled the Wheel of Time adaptation. There’s little hope for this given the very limited source material they are adapting. Despite the good production values.
I’m sure a lot more will be said about this gross reinterpretation of a well established literary masterpiece once this show is released, I’m not sure how the shows producers and Prime Video thought that devoted readers and scholars of J.R.R. Tolkien’s works would just concede to Lord of the Rings being made to look more acceptable to the social mores preferred by the shows producers and not to those just wanting an honest adaption of the complex stories and characters from the Tolkien books, books that have sold about 150 million copies world wide. Sometimes, some classic stories just need to be left well alone.
