Tour de France lifts SBS, Seven wins Thursday.

Seven News, The Chase score for Seven. Tour de France draws in armchair travellers and cycling fans.

It was another quiet Thursday but Seven managed to win their first night of the week, while SBS had a good share thanks to Tour de France until late night.

The Chase led entertainment at 536,000 / 320,000.

7:30 (474,000) led its slot then The Dog House (419,000), an extended Home & Away (404,000 / 363,000 from 7pm), Under Investigation (to be adjusted as RBT 339,000) and Foreign Correspondent (306,000).

Later The Front Bar was 349,000, then Paramedics (294,000), and Q+A (229,000).

Seven network won with 28.5% then Nine 26.0%, ABC 17.2%, 10 17.1% and SBS 11.3%.

Seven News was #1 at 886,000 / 861,000.  The Latest was 300,000. Conjoined Twins was 157,000 in select cities.

Nine News (821,000 / 788,000)  was best for Nine then A Current Affair winning at 630,000. Hot Seat was 423,000 / 280,000. New Amsterdam was 116,000.

The Project drew 336,000 / 219,000 for 10. 10 News First was 292,000 / 191,000.  Who is Ghislaine Maxwell? was 172,000.

ABC News was 594,000. The Drum (162,000) and One Plus One (98,000) followed.

SBS had a good night thanks to Tour de France (157,000 across the network), then Scenic Walks with Kate Humble (124,000), SBS World News (120,000 /  90,000), Stacey Dooley Inside the Convent (84,000) and Mastermind (48,000).

Bluey led multichannels again at 131,000.

  1. I love the Tour, the scenery is spectacular and they point out many places of interest along the way….still do not understand the cycling side..👌
