2 part documentary Kisstory will screen next week on SBS VICELAND

The definitive documentary on the most recognisable band in the world, KISS. This two-part series chronicles the band’s five decades in the business as founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons reflect on their historic career. Along with guests Dave Grohl and Tom Morello, Paul and Gene discuss the wild journey to global stardom, to rock bottom, to rock legends.

Saturday, 20 August at 8.30pm on SBS VICELAND

Apparently this is part of a series of music docos showing Saturday nights on SBS Viceland, including Kiss, Ozzy Osbourne, and showing tonight (as noted in Daily Picks), The Public Image Is Rotten, about Johnny Rotten/John Lydon’s other band, Public Image Limited, perhaps not as explosive as the Sex Pistols were, but arguably just as influential.
