Airdate: The Winchesters

First look at Supernatural prequel, to screen in October.

The Winchesters, a prequel to long-running Supernatural, will debut in October on Binge.

Before Sam and Dean, there were their parents, John and Mary. Told from the perspective of narrator Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), The Winchesters is the epic, untold love story of how John Winchester (Drake Rodger) met Mary Campbell (Meg Donnelly) and put it all on the line to not only save their love, but the entire world.

The cast also includes Nida Khurshid (Station 19), Jonathan “Jojo” Fleites, Demetria McKinney (Tyler Perry’s House of Payne) and Bianca Kajlich (Legacies).

The Winchesters is written and executive produced by Robbie Thompson. Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles executive produce via their Chaos Machine Productions. Glen Winter directed and executive produced the pilot. David H. Goodman joined the creative team as an executive producer for the series. McG serves as an executive producer. The series is from Chaos Machine Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Studios.

Wednesday 12 October on Binge. New episodes every Wednesday.

  1. I hope it will have a different monster each episode like super natural did for its first couple seasons, but the also few seasons were boring with just being about angels

  2. Not entirely untold. The did a time travel episode with flashbacks, with Meg Donnelly playing Mary and Nels Guloien playing John. This is spun off from that.
