No contest as Seven wins Thursday

By 7:30pm it was really game over for other networks as Birmingham dominates primetime viewing. Neighbours finale lifts in Total TV.

Seven had it all their own way last night with decidedly quiet viewing elsewhere after 7:30pm.

The Commonwealth Games drew 669,000 / 564,000 / 333,000 metro viewers in evening sessions.

Elsewhere 7:30 was 417,000 then The Dog House (365,000) and Foreign Correspondent (265,000).

Thursday Night NRL drew 255,000 across Nine’s network.

Seven network won Thursday with 38.0% then Nine 24.3%, 10 15.3%, ABC 14.9% and SBS 7.4%.

Seven News was #1 at 908,000 / 882,000 for Seven. The Chase topped entertainment at 493,000 / 316,000.

Nine News (752,000 / 745,000) was best for Nine. A Current Affair was 629,000 with Hot Seat at 380,000 / 245,000. RBT and Paramedics were both 163,000 in select cities.

The Project drew 279,000 / 204,000 for 10. 10 News First was 267,000 / 176,000. Law & Order: SVU finally played out to 188,000 / 69,000. A Cheap Seats replay was 103,000.

ABC News was 563,000. Sammy J (279,000), Q+A (210,000), The Drum (165,000) and Courtney Act’s One Plus One (107,000) followed.

On SBS it was Titanic: The New Evidence (131,000), SBS World News (123,000 / 106,000), World’s Most Scenic River Journeys (121,000), and The Cook Up with Adam Liaw (37,000).

The Adventures of Paddington topped multichannels at 132,000.

Today Extra: 109,000 / 77,000
Studio 10: 37,000 / 32,000 /

  1. I watched The Doghouse….later The Cook Up with Adam Liaw …did not grab me at first….but new set and moves more smoothly now…good guests…I watch later at night.
