SBS has decided to dump episodes of The Cook Up with Adam Liaw from 6pm weeknights, and return to Mastermind.
The Cook Up, which remains an SBS Food series, was put into the 6pm slot on the main channel in late July.
But just a month later SBS has reversed that decision following low ratings.
Episodes have been hovering around the 30,000 – 40,000 mark, compared with Mastermind that generally attracts around 70,000 – 90,000.
From September 5 Mastermind repeats are back in play, but no word as yet on new episodes.
An SBS spokesperson said, “Audience feedback indicated people were missing Mastermind before the News so we are bringing it back. You can still find the much loved The Cook Up on SBS Food nightly at 7pm.”
