  1. What a classy actor she was, and what an impact with her body of work. For me, her ‘Elizabeth’ was just so vivid and the audience truly felt what it was like to be rattled and bossed around by another! Josephine’s chemistry with Patricia Routledge was such an important part of the series. Not many of the ensemble left now, and it will be a truly devastating day when the Dame herself shuffles off. So many laughs in that series. One of my favourites. R.I.P Josephine Tewson.
