AFL brings home week for Seven

Three big days of AFL Finals ensured Seven halted a Nine run across the ratings last week.

It’s no wonder networks are chasing the AFL broadcast rights so aggressively.

Last week Nine was on track to take out the ratings week -until AFL Finals delivered huge shares Seven’s way: 39.3%, 42.3% and 45.1% from Thursday – Saturday.

That was enough to give Seven claim the week despite the might of The Block on Nine.

Elsewhere ABC outranked 10 on five of seven nights, finished in third pole position.
