Magda Szubanski takes a deep dive into the state of our health while reflecting on her own, in upcoming ABC series.

ABC will screen Magda’s Big National Health Check in November, a 3 part factual series in which the star is on a mission to improve our health and well-being as a nation.

“This has been an eye-opening experience. I was quite shocked to learn just how unhealthy we are as a nation! And also, to discover some of the unexpected external factors that can determine our health outcomes. But I was also very excited to see how many terrific initiatives are out there in the community, finding innovative and fun ways that we can help one another get healthier together!” said Magda.

Magda takes a deep dive into the state of our health while reflecting on her own. Most of all Magda wants to help drive change, both in our own lives, in our community and as a nation.

She is determined to find the answers she needs about how we can improve our chances of a healthy life in the lucky country. 1. Kudos to Magda for giving it a go, I’m a big girl myself and I’ve never let it get in the way of enjoying my life and I certainly won’t let anyone define me by it. I live what I determine is a healthy lifestyle but I’ve never let the weight craze affect me. I’m simply who I am and extremely comfortable in my own skin which matters most to me. If I drop dead tomorrow that’s meant to be, what’s going to happen is going to happen that’s my motto which has served me well regards acceptance of things life throws up, but I’m interested in how this show will tackle it. Who knows old dog new trick.
