Selma Blair wows Dancing with the Stars judges

Actor Selma Blair, who has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 4 years, took to the dance floor in USA.

Actor Selma Blair, who revealed a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis 4 years ago, wowed American judges on Dancing with the Stars this week.

Blair, who last week presented at the Emmy Awards, has lost feeling in her left leg which causes balance issues for her.

She was paired with her real-life neighbour, Australian dancer Sasha Farber, for a Viennese waltz to David Cook’s “Time of My Life,” starting with Blair letting go of her cane.

“I’m just so touched as somebody who is from the invisible illness community,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. “Seeing you come out here with your circumstances and just making everyone aware that you are fully able to do and achieve anything you put your mind to.”

Blair scored 28 / 40 points, tieing for third place for the night.

“I’m so grateful.” Blair said. “I’ve never danced and this is a dream come true, so thank you.”

Dancing with the Stars US recently moved to Disney+ but yet is no available in Australia.

  1. Truely beautiful, balance issues myself and use a walking stick, I love dancing so I keep on dancing as best I can. That was uplifting and inspiring and proves just keep going and you can achieve anything.
Having a good dance partner you can trust is essential too. Love this.
