  1. One of the common complaints about The Block, specially on their facebook page,is to see more reno, less drama, arguing, blah ,blah blah.Yeah..well go to Youtube if you wanna see how to mitre a joint..lol.Me..because I am weird…what absolutely fascinates me about The Block is the extraordinary job they do in incorporating ads within the show… their product placement and ongoing advertising within the confines of the show itself,is really quite remarkable…and let’s face it,that’s what makes tv..Programs that bring eyeballs, eyeballs that watch ads.Obviously Disney + and scores of others see merit in hooking up with this show. And how effective it must be,you probably only have to look to Mitre 10..they’ve been with this show as long as I can remember…cause they’re loyal?..naw ..cause it helps their sales.

  2. Having watched Sunday’s episode of The Amazing Race Australia in which they used a bow and arrow, I didn’t recognise this bloke in the photo and then realised that the Block must have had a challenge requiring a bow and arrow. At least TARA is about racing and challenges, whereas the Block is more than a Renovation show?!

      1. They were at a pretty well-known ski resort and it was northern hemisphere winter when they filmed. It’s insane, but not surprising given the rest of the thought that’s apparently gone into the season, that they didn’t have a better backup plan in case of the incredibly unlikely event that it snowed at a ski resort in winter.

      2. I haven’t seen the snowman challenge, but that is an unfamiliar activity in Queensland 😀 and yes an easy challneg, some have been really tough so far.
