  1. Not sure if it is the host (who seems amiable enough) but the dreadful pacing compared to other versions of the show internationally is very wearing. This is a once a week strictly one hour show but the current environment really does not allow for it sadly.

Ratings seem down across the board for a Wednesday – new services under 900,000, Home and Away continuing to dip lower (seemingly happened since Neighbours finished which seems counterintuitive) and not much passion from the audience evident for anything really.

    1. That’s not correct. Home and away (while not great overnight), is up about 50k average Mon-Wed since Neighbours ended and it’s return after the Commonwealth. Going into winter and during July the show was just above 400k

  2. The amazing race ratings are terrible! I cant watch the host since he was on im a celebrity…i wonder if others feel the same and its affected the ratings?

    1. I am really enjoying Beau as host. He has grown in to the role. I have loved The Amazing Race since the US version started in 2001. I think Beau gives a huge amount of energy to the show. I think he’s better than Phil.

I thought I would hate the ‘Two Teams’ approach, but it was really good last night. I hope the ratings pick up in delayed viewing.

      1. I used to love the U.S version so much but i just feel the oz version comes close
I do hope for tens sake though that the ratings improve..i dont like to see any local show fail.
