What time does The Handmaid’s Tale drop at SBS on Demand?

Well this probably a first.
SBS has supplied a full list of times that The Handmaid’s Tale episodes will be available at SBS on Demand.
Season five begins with a double episode at 8:30pm this Thursday, September 15th on SBS and will follow at 9.30pm on Thursdays from 22 September.
But fans can catch the show earlier online from 2:01pm AEST at SBS on Demand (take note of Daylight Saving changes in October).
The series has been renewed for a sixth and final season.
In the new season, June faces consequences for killing Commander Waterford while struggling to redefine her identity and purpose. The widowed Serena attempts to raise her profile in Toronto as Gilead’s influence creeps into Canada. Commander Lawrence works with Nick and Aunt Lydia as he tries to reform Gilead and rise in power. June, Luke and Moira fight Gilead from a distance as they continue their mission to save and reunite with Hannah.
The series stars Elisabeth Moss, Bradley Whitford, Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, O-T Fagbenle, Samira Wiley, Madeline Brewer, Amanda Brugel, Ann Dowd and Sam Jaeger.
The Handmaid’s Tale is produced by MGM Television and executive produced by Bruce Miller, Warren Littlefield, Elisabeth Moss, Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, Yahlin Chang, Rachel Skukert, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Steve Stark and Kim Todd. The series is internationally distributed by MGM.
The Handmaid’s Tale Season Five will be available to stream on SBS On Demand with subtitling available in both Arabic and Simplified Chinese, following the broadcast.

To welcome the new season, SBS will bring Sydneysiders a glimpse of Gilead at Westfield in Pitt Street Mall (opposite Myer) from Monday, September 19th until Sunday, September 25th. Praise be!

Handmaids Tale actually dropped today at 2 pm on SBS on Demand, same day and time as the US.
For me, this is another show that has gone on for too long. I didn’t enjoy S4 and won’t bother with 5 and 6.
Season 4 was back ontop of its game for me. Can’t wait for Season 5 but I am glad they’ve announced 6 as the end as the story surely is getting to a point where it needs to be wrapped up, arguably that could’ve been this season.
