John Farnham’s son’s, Robert and James, have given an interview speaking about their father’s battle with cancer, speaking exclusively with A Current Affair reporter Seb Costello tonight.

For the first time, viewers will hear the full-story of how John’s cancer diagnosis came about and what John thought of Robbie Williams’ performance of You’re the Voice at last month’s AFL Grand Final (Ed: a family statement indicated he loved it).

Robert and James also answer the question the whole country is asking: Will John ever sing again?

In a remarkably open and honest interview, Robert and James share the inspiring moment they knew their father was going to pull through surgery.

The Farnhams also pay tribute to the incredible bravery of their mother, Jill, and the amazing doctors and nurses who cared for John.

  1. Trouble being in the public eye nowadays everyone owns you, privacy is out the window even when battling an illness, he’s been an ozzie battler and I wish I’m well. We have at least still got his music to listen too.

    1. People love John and are interested in his wellbeing, just the same as Bert Newton and Olivia.

      And it’s nice of his sons to bear the spotlight for the family.
