As tipped, My Mum Your Dad will premiere on Nine on Monday November 7, a day after The Block auctions.
The series hosted by Kate Langbroek sees single parents looking for love for the second time around. But they don’t know their adult children are secretly watching via cameras.
Not only do they have their parents under surveillance, they also have a big hand in who their parents date.
Would you trust your child to choose the right partner for you?
Produced by ITV Studios Australia this is based on a format created by father-daughter duo, Greg and Hayley Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation, King of the Hill).
Nine is understood to be casting for a second season.

If this rates, mankind is doomed.
Why can’t tv networks/streaming (including overseas) bring back shows that failed in the past (e.g reef doctors) and make them successes rather than make more and more dating/marriage shows although some are good to watch (MAFS, Love island) but there’s too many just like years ago when there were too many cooking/renovation shows
I know Kate has a very busy schedule with MMYD and KIIS 101.1 Melbourne, but I wonder if she will still appear as a panellist on THe Project and HYBPA?
Can’t be much more than voiceover surely to this type of show for Kate to be doing…..shouldn’t impact her work on other programs
I thought Married at first sight was bad, it seems Australian television has sunk lower.
Oh dear, spying on your parents no no no how cringeworthy. Why do it, dating is a private thing between two people after all it’s their lives not the kids. What next?
