Airdate: Nine Perfect Strangers

Drama with Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Asher Keddie comes to SBS.

Australian-made drama Nine Perfect Strangers has a Free to Air screening from tonight on SBS.

The series features Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Asher Keddie, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Tiffany Boone, Manny Jacinto, Grace Van Patten, Zoe Terakes, Regina Hall, and Bobby Cannavale.

It begins with a double episode.

Based on The New York Times bestselling book by author Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha (Nicole Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine ‘perfect’ strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

Episode One: Random Acts Of Mayhem
Promised total transformation, nine very different people arrive at Tranquillum House, a secluded retreat run by the mysterious wellness guru Masha.

Episode Two: The Critical Path
As healing begins, the guests begin to doubt the retreat’s unconventional methods. They came for massages and relaxation, not to face their own mortality.

8:30pm tonight on SBS.

  1. Thank you David your better than the My Foxtel app today. I was hoping it would be free to air at some stage. Too many shows to choose from today. In the planner, but why at the same time as My Life as a Rolling Stone finale on Nine and My Life is Murder on Ten. The gods sure aren’t in sync today.
