Adrian Dunbar from Line of Duty stars in a brand new UK drama.

New UK drama Ridley starring Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) begins today on BritBox.

From Monday there is also a new $2 deal for new subscribers.

Adrian Dunbar (Line of Duty) plays retired Detective Alex Ridley who is lured back to the service as a consultant when his former protégée asks for his help cracking a complex murder case.

Also starring Bronagh Waugh (The Suspect, Unforgotten, The Fall) and Georgie Glenn (Call the Midwife); and
produced by the writer behind Vera, Shakespeare & Hathaway, Casualty and Father Brown.

Saturday 1 October on BritBox.

  1. Ridley in my opinion is not another Line of Duty, but it will be attractive for those addicted to British police dramas and lets face it the British public cant get enough of them. Episode one did look familiar especially if you watch nordic noir, the casting of shows main support actors could have been better but Adrian Dunbar is as always good value even if he is once again typecast in his familiar law enforcement officer (semi-retired).

    1. Some actors just shine with their acting chops in certain roles, probably why they are chosen. Comedians often bomb doing serious and those who do drama well bomb at comedy. It’s all comes down to their believable skills I believe.
