Cameras roll on Love Me S2

Hugo Weaving, Bojana Novakovic, William Lodder, Bob Morley, Heather Mitchell return for more of acclaimed drama.

Season 2 of Logie-Award winning Love Me has begun filming in Melbourne for Binge and Foxtel.

The series, which was the most nominated drama at this year’s Logie Awards, sees the return of all the main cast: Hugo Weaving returning as Glenn; Bojana Novakovic as Clara; William Lodder as Aaron; Heather Mitchell as Anita; Bob Morley as Peter; Celia Pacquola as Sacha; Shalom Brune-Franklin as Ella; and Mitzi Ruhlmann as Jesse.

Several new characters arrive in Season 2 but are yet to be revealed.

Season 2 welcomes new director Bonnie Moir, who has worked with Garth Davis on Lion, Mary Magdalene and FOE and with Glendyn Ivin on  The Cry and Penguin Bloom. Her short films include, We’re Not Here which premiered at MIFF and Not Dark Yet featuring Richard Moir and Nick Denton.

The series will be available to Binge and Foxtel customers.

Commissioned by the Foxtel Group, distributed by DCD Rights in association with VicScreen, Love Me is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia. The series is produced by Nicole O’Donohue, with lead writers, Leon Ford and Tamara Asmar, with Adele Vuko and Celia Pacquola each penning an episode. Executive Producers are Michael Brooks, Hamish Lewis (Warner Bros. Australia) Brian Walsh, Alison Hurbert-Burns and Lana Greenhalgh (Foxtel Group).
