  1. We have all seen the diminution in free to air ratings but previously the news services seemed to have been less affected but it is notable to see the early in the week drops over the last few months. Especially at a time of national disasters which usually pull in more viewers the TV news services have remained stubbornly under a million.

I also wonder David if you think Ten can or will stick with The Traitors given the low numbers? It is not likely to grow but equally what would they replace it with?

They deserve credit for trying new content and concepts but this one stank of death from very early on.

    1. Agreed. They used to hover +/- 1 mill especially for Sun-Thu. Seven has close enough to a clean sweep last night. Nine pretty much own Sydney so that’s unusual. I have noticed seven winning Melbourne a lot recently but mostly driven by numbers dropping off Nine Melbourne than Seven’s increasing. Separately, I can’t quite recall how long ago seven dropped their 4th channel and at the same time, nine added one, but seven have to be pleased as the don’t appear to have dropped any share with 2 versus 3 secondary channel (their issue is prime time viewing on the main channel and trying to have an answer to MAFS and the block).
