Australian Story, This is Your Life & HYBPA? score on Monday

Nine's new reality series eclipsed in its slot, but there's a silver lining for Love Island in Total TV.

Monday ratings were something of a reset last night with a reality juggernaut having ended.

Australian Story topped its timeslot at 585,000 metro viewers, just ahead of Seven’s special This is Your Life at (581,000).

Next across the same slot were 7:30 (524,000), My Mum Your Dad (396,000) and The Traitors (260,000).

The season finale of Have You Been Paying Attention? was also a winner and led the demos at 508,000 ahead of Four Corners (439,000), Media Watch (422,000), 9-1-1 (252,000) and Under Investigation (206,000).

Seven network won Monday with 30.2% then Nine 26.0%, ABC 18.4%, 10 17.9% and SBS 7.5%.

Nine News was 797,000 / 740,000. A Current Affair won with 702,000 then Hot Seat (347,000 / 211,000). Suburban Gangsters was 109,000.

Seven News was #1 at 840,000 / 803,000 for Seven. The Chase led with 447,000 /284,000 then Home & Away (443,000) and SWAT (108,000).

ABC News pulled 566,000. Planet America (225,000) and The Drum (125,000) followed for ABC.

The Project drew 309,000 / 194,000 for 10. 10 News First was 251,000 / 157,000. Ghosts was 289,000.

SBS SBS World News (150,000 / 119,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (104,000), Scotland’s Extreme Medics (94,000) and Celebrity Letters & Numbers (84,000).

Doc Martin on 7TWO topped multichannels at 110,000.

In Total TV numbers last Monday Love Island saw a massive lift of 594%:

  1. Considering HYBPA is such a top rating show, which I thoroughly enjoy. It’s a shame it’s ended early before the end of the official ratings season.
    I’ll miss the laughs!

  2. With all the amazing promotion the Block gave Nine’s new “Mums and Dads” show that is a truly terrible result. A 1.6M platform the night before, crashing to 390K wow!

  3. Really enjoyed last night’s Home and Away. John, Justin and Mack were hilarious and Dean’s heart to heart with Ziggy about last names was really well done. Plus we got a cliffhanger to top it all off.
