  1. I’m a fan of the US versions of Challenge, and this Aus version is watchable. But seriously Blind Freddy could’ve told you this format would never work in Australia – I’m assuming 10 will stick it out, doesn’t seem they have much left in the cupboard to replace it with…

    1. I am really struggling with The Challenge. I originally thought from the promotions that it was some kind of Survivor clone but watching it now seems more like a dating program for sort-of celebrities – kind if like what SAS would be if the army trainers started hooking up with the recruits. Very odd indeed and clearly of little interest to Ten’s audience.

  2. Two years ago “10’s lack of a lead-in undermined a fast-tracked new season of NCIS”

Seems same is still happening with 10 and NCIS, but the audience is now half of what it was then. Add in the repeating repeat factor at 10, with NCIS’ umpteen episodes each week, and a new episode repeated in primetime four nights later. Promos for NCIS “New Season” on Saturday night don’t help the Tuesday first-run either.

  3. Channel 10 must be in disbelief that a soccer match played between two non-Australian sides can be a ratings success on SBS when its figures for local soccer are abysmal.

    1. ten and the a league should be taking this opportunity to get on the soccer bandwagon .. but they take the women’s a league off terrestrial tv and make it stream only .. if i was ten .. the games are being filmed anyway – put every women’s and men’s game on bold for this season building up to the women’s world cup – although that may help seven and optus who have those rights . fox paramount and then reset next season. at the very least show at least one local game per market on bold
