  1. Discussing the Medibank hack of which I’m a customer isn’t going to help much because that horse has bolted after the gate was shut. The measures to secure customers data should have been put in place when the previous employees left who had access to it, not after the fact. All that has been done is make people aware of these companies and their policies for securing customers details. Same with Optus. Makes me wonder how many more companies are vulnerable to hackers the public are completely unaware of.
