Nine is reportedly looking to cast a new property series in Melbourne.

The Herald Sun reports a new fly-on-the-wall reality show is planning to look into the flashy lifestyles of agents and the high-end real estate they are selling.

“The flashier, the richer, the better,” it noted with a pilot having recently been filmed.

But with $1,000 per episode and concerns about whether it might impact businesses negatively, some agents have reportedly had second thoughts about being involved.

While Nine may be pursuing their own Luxe Listings / Selling Sunset style brand, it isn’t clear if the project would be for Nine itself or a multichannel such as 9Life.

  1. While I like some property life style shows and watch a fair few on 9Life, I feel that Luxe Listings or similar is in bad taste with current economic woes and generally less appealing as homes are ostentatious and less achievable to many.
    I’d prefer they invest in an Off Grid or more sustainable home style show.
