This is Your Life: Tina Arena

The final This is Your Life for 2022 will spotlight singer Tina Arena, next Monday.

Hosted by Melissa Doyle this includes guests Johnny Young and John Bowles, and tributes from Darren Hayes, Kate Miller-Heidke, Melissa George, Natalie Imbruglia, Ian “Molly” Meldrum, Mary Coustas, Manu Feildel, Matt Corby, Sir Tim Rice and Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Andrea Bocelli.

The series has already been renewed for 2023.

From Chains and Sorrento Moon to Heaven Help My Heart and Burn, Tina is a global superstar with 10 million records sold worldwide, a member of the ARIA Hall of Fame and a household name in Australia since she was eight years old.

This Is Your Life host Melissa Doyle surprises Tina during the Australian Women in Music Awards at the Tivoli Theatre in Brisbane where she is the headline guest.

Filled with show-stopping performances and untold stories, This Is Your Life steps into the life of the very private star, with special guests Darren Hayes, Kate Miller-Heidke, Melissa George, Natalie Imbruglia, Ian “Molly” Meldrum, Mary Coustas, Manu Feildel and Matt Corby.

Going back to where it all started for “Tiny Tina Arena”, there is a heartfelt Young Talent Time reunion including Johnny Young and John Bowles, as well as touching anecdotes from global theatre greats Sir Tim Rice and Anthony Lloyd Webber and opera superstar Andrea Bocelli.

Jessica Mauboy emotionally reveals the powerful impact Tina had during their historic performance of Chains at 2015 ARIA Awards, while Tina’s self-confessed cheer squad – designer and presenter Shaynna Blaze and TV personality Yvie Jones – talk about how they struck up an unlikely friendship in the most difficult of times.

Tina recounts the incredible story of how she came to sing at the very last minute for Cadel Evans’ victory in the Tour de France and, in the biggest surprise of the night, Tina’s sister from London joins the celebration in person along with their much-loved family.

Finally, in the ultimate thrill for all of Australia, Tina takes to the stage to perform her latest music.
