TV Tonight hears whispers Liam Bartlett could surface as a reporter on 7News Spotlight in 2023…
Bartlett left Nine in November, exiting 60 Minutes and radio commitments hosting 6PR Mornings.
He had reported for 60 Minutes from 2006 – 2012 then rejoining in 2015.
“My time at 60 Minutes has afforded me so many memorable moments in the footsteps of some of the best in the business. I’m extremely appreciative of all the opportunities,” he said.
But with the seasoned Perth-based journalist no longer contracted to Nine, it would effectively make him available for reporting on 7News Spotlight for executive producer Mark Llewellyn.
Whether that would make him full-time or hired from story to story is unclear.
His departure, along with Sarah Abo joining Today, means the 60 Minutes roster will likely need several new facessss next year.

I just want an ACA article on his neighbourhood squabbles.
Liam or Sarah in my opinion would have been a better fit for ACA.
Liam Bartlett is a great reporter and would be a good fit for 7NewsSpotlight.
