72 showed S1 2 years ago and are currently running it for the 3rd time. Seven haven’t showed S2, which they announced for this year and aired on Alibi Jun/Jul this year. S3 is listed for Jan 2023 on PBS in the US. Seven have bought repeats of old seasons of Call The Midwife from the BBC and Heartbeat (which aired on Gem last year) from ITV.
Now that’s recycling at its best. As for CTM and Heartbeat it’s an insult to the viewers doing the “shuffle buck”.
Repeating the 40 episodes of Pie In The Sky in the Tuesday 7:30pm slot for a decade was worse. These CTM episode have been in high rotation on BBC First during the day, but last appeared on the ABC 6 or more years ago. I guess people are supposed to to 7plus is they want more interesting content.
Seven have only shown Series One, and even repeated it like tonight. If they are still going to screen it then they have some catching up to do but with Bravo launching I guess that “baby” will be their priority now.
