US actor Brad William Henke, best known for Orange Is the New Black, has died, aged 56.
He died last Tuesday but no cause of death was revealed.
Henke appeared as Desi Piscatella, a gay corrections officer in Orange Is the New Black from 2016 – 2018.
The former NFL player had a lead role in Going to California, and recurring roles on Justified, Lost, October Road, Nikki and Dexter.
He had guest spots on such television series as Chicago Hope, Silk Stockings, ER, The Pretender, Law & Order, Life on Mars, Trust Me, Party Down, Royal Pains, Criminal Minds, Shameless, Grimm, Bones and Castle. Other TV credits include The Bridge, The Stand, Manhunt, The Office and The Chicago Code.
Films included Split, Pee-wee’s Big Holiday, Pure Love, Draft Day, Pacific Rim, The Frozen Ground, Jobs, I Am Not a Hipster, Magic Valley, The Space Between, Choke, Must Love Dogs and The Assassination of Richard Nixon.

He played a great part as a piece of work in OITNB, who doesn’t love a bad boys they add spice to a show. He was recently in Law and Order SVU earlier this year too playing a captain of a precinct. RIP
