WWE stars hit Bondi Beach

Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E meet fans at a promotional event in Sydney on Monday.

Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E, stars of WWE, hit Bondi Beach yesterday to meet fans and promote their new subscription home in Australia on Binge.

Appearing as as WWE Champion Tag Team ‘The New Day, the’ trio are one of the most successful Tag Teams in WWE history having won multiple championships, most recently Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods becoming WWE NXT Tag Team Champions.

Binge Executive Director, Alison Hurbert-Burns said: “We’re thrilled to welcome WWE champions, The New Day – Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E to Australian shores with our very own spectacle on the iconic Bondi Beach, to celebrate Binge becoming the new streaming home of WWE.”

Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E, added: “Australia! It’s been too long but The New Day are finally back in Oz and we’re celebrating the arrival of WWE on Binge. We could think of no better way to kick things off than with a day at the beach surrounded by our incredible fans Down Under.”

The New Day will continue to tour Australia through Sydney and Melbourne over the coming days with upcoming streaming events include Royal Rumble (January 29) and WrestleMania 39 (April 2 and 3).

  1. Unsure Big E should be doing that lifting since he is recovering from a broken neck that has put his career in doubt, but good to see that he can still be put to promotional use.

    Excited to see The Royal Rumble on Sunday. If the outside chance happens and The Rock appears, then it will be a huge moment. Even if it does occur, I still think the Hollywood insurance policies will limit his ability to do anything too significant.
