Andrea Bocelli takes a spiritual pilgrimage along Italy's ancient route Via Francigena, with time for musical friends.

Break out the kleenex, and maybe a bottle of red, for The Journey with Andrea Bocelli coming to Paramount+ in March.

Across three episodes and a 90-minute special, the series follows gifted tenor Bocelli as he travels Italy’s pilgrimage route Via Francigena on horseback.

Acts to feature include 2Cellos, 40 Fingers, Beatrice Venezi, Katherine Jenkins, Matteo Bocelli, Michael W. Smith, Ramin Bahrami, Tauren Wells, TAYA, and Tori Kelly -and even a special appearance from Pope Francis.

Throughout Bocelli’s spiritual pilgrimage along the ancient trail, historical waypoints immerse viewers in the series’ key themes: peace, purpose, facing fear, hope, restoration, and relationships. Each episode features a different Italian backdrop, taking Bocelli from St Peter’s Basilica through Tuscany’s rolling hills, towards the medieval fortress of Monteriggioni and on to his hometown of Lajatico.

Along the way, Bocelli reflects on life’s biggest questions with friends and family, and performs with talented artists, including: 2Cellos, 40 Fingers, Beatrice Venezi, Clara Barbier Serrano (Andrea Bocelli Foundation Scholarship Winner), Katherine Jenkins, Matteo Bocelli, Michael W. Smith, Ramin Bahrami, Tauren Wells, TAYA, and Tori Kelly.

The 90-minute special combines every performance from the series with highlights from Bocelli and his musical companions’ travels along the Via Francigena.

The Journey With Andrea Bocelli is co-produced by TBN, Impact Productions, and Cineroma. The series is executive-produced by Matt and Laurie Crouch and Andrea and Veronica Bocelli, with Gaetano Morbiolo and Paolo Sodi serving as co-directors.
