If you never caught Patrick Demsey thriller Devils on subscription TV it will have its Free to Air debut via SBS on Demand tomorrow, ahead of a later linear broadcast on SBS.
Swedish crime drama Alex also screens on Thursday.

A dazzling, sophisticated thriller set in the rarefied world of global finance, Devils follows the fortunes of charismatic and nerveless trader Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi) who is set for a promotion into the big league at NYL bank after a string of stunning successes. When a scandal involving his ex-wife breaks, Massimo’s CEO and mentor Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey) passes over him in favour of a fierce rival. Things go from bad to worse when a colleague suddenly dies, and Massimo becomes the prime suspect. Stars Liaia Costa, Lars Mikkelsen and Malachi Kirby. Devils S1 will also air on SBS at a later date.

A dirty cop decides to go straight after accidentally shooting his partner. However, he must first get dirtier than ever as the gangsters he used to work for begin to threaten his family. As he attempts to work against the tide, his new partner, a by-the-book, career-orientated officer, begins to plot against him too. Stars Dragomir Mršić and Rakel Wärmländer.

I tried to preserve with Devils on Foxtel but no unless you’re into the finance gig or a fan of Patrick Dempsey I’d advise sticking to Greys Anatomy for your Dempsey fix.
