Cazz81; All the promos for the show have been misleading. It keeps on having the word ‘live’ included. It wont get to be ‘live’/live, until Top 30? 24 and down to 12. While the auditions happen, is just watching pre-recorded material. Im also sus re the promos re Marcia Hines. It also looks pre-recorded.
They will be Live results shows, not live Performance shows. Marcia is involved in top 50 week.
Seven said to watch the show live, they didn’t say the show was love. I guess not to stream it later – in what i am assuming to help with the overnight ratings, which kind of has not happened……
I just noticed – and slightly chuckled – that a rerun of Vera beat out The Project with almost double the viewers. Just shaking my head as to what 10 is doing with The Project, or if they plan to actually make it watchable at all.
Sevens promos all last week for Idol last night were very misleading. I was under the impression that the top 50 would be performing in front of a live audience and the process of getting down to the top 12 would finally begin. When I realised it was yet another episode almost 2 hours long with more auditions, I switched off within minutes.
I agree, if you are going to really hype a show up, you better deliver or viewers will not come back.
