First look at the reimagining of '80s box office hit, now as a TV drama series with Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan.

But wait…where are the bunnies?

Paramount+ has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming series Fatal Attraction.

The 8 part season is a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ‘80s box office hit.

The new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.

The series stars Joshua Jackson as Dan Gallagher, Lizzy Caplan as Alex Forrest, Amanda Peet as Beth Gallagher, Alyssa Jirrels as Ellen Gallagher, Toby Huss as Mike Gerard, Reno Wilson as Detective Earl Brooker and Brian Goodman as Arthur Tomlinson.

Alexandra Cunningham (Dirty John, Chance) serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer on the series alongside executive producer Kevin J. Hynes (Perry Mason), with whom Cunningham shares co-story credit, and executive producers Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television. Silver Tree also serves as executive producer and directed five episodes.

Three episodes Monday, 1 May and continues weekly on Paramount+.

  1. I wish they’d leave some re-adaptations alone, how can anyone re-do anything with one of the greatest thrillers ever made and that cemented Michael Douglas (right before “Wall Street” but after “Romancing the Stone” etc) and Glenn Close as A-list stars!? From this specific genre master Adrian Lyne and adapted from James Dearden’s Oscar-winning British feature.

    1. It’s a relatively old film but still has name recognition, and pay TV constantly needs ‘new’ product for filling the multitudinous services-was also surprised to see ‘True Lies’ has got a similar series treatment.
