Friday Flashback: Bobby Dazzler

In 1977 a young Johnny Farnham starred as a rising pop star in a Crawford’s sitcom Bobby Dazzler.

The cast included Olivia Hamnett as his manager, Maurie Fields as his estranged, beer-lovin’ father, and the late Terry Norris as his uncle.

In this scene father and son were trying to get reacquainted, with booze getting in the way -and look for two old stage hoofers performing a song and dance.

It screened on Seven for 14 episodes.
