Season 2 of UK crime drama Sister Boniface Mysteries, made by the same creators as Father Brown, will screen on BritBox in April.

Lorna Watson (The IT Crowd, The Wrong Door, Forget Me Not) returns as Sister Boniface of St Vincents Convent: a
moped-riding, wine-making nun and part-time forensic scientist. The series is set in a cosy Cotswolds town during
the 1960s and the police are rudimentary.

The local townspeople rely on the charismatic Sister Boniface to solve the village’s crimes. If there’s evidence to befound, Sister Boniface will find it with a little help from the dashing DI Sam Gilliespie played by Max Brown (Downton Abbey, The Royals, The Tudors).

Thursday 6 April on BritBox.
