We finally have a definitive answer.
Rupert Murdoch has never watched Succession.
Guardian Australia reports in documents in the US lawsuit around Dominion Voting Systems (look it up if you care), was an unredacted email address. Semafor media reporter, Max Tani, used the info to quiz the media mogul about his TV viewing habits.
“Hey Rupert, I’m a media reporter with Semafor. I wanted to get in touch to see if you plan on watching the final season of Succession when it airs later this month, and what you think of the show. Thanks, let me know.”
Surprisingly, Murdoch wrote back: “Never watched it.”
“It’s an interesting show,” Tani replied. “While I have you: How do you think Elon [Musk] is doing running Twitter?”
“Great!” Murdoch wrote. “Tough task but he will get there.”
Succession final season looms on March 27, still time to binge those first 3 seasons?
