  1. The MCG has its grass relaid following the Ed Sherren concert a couple of weeks ago as well, so if the MCG and Adelaide Oval are ready, I am not sure about Perth Stadium. But there is also a possibility that it could be all a coincidence.

    1. I know that Perth stadium restored to AFL mode following Ed Sheeran however it’s not ready, they still need to put the turf back. They need to clean up the stadium, but they have to mark the AFL lines. I wonder which afl game is next up at Perth Stadium.
In mid-year AUS/NZ will host the FIFA Women’s World Cup. I wonder what will happen with the AFL clashing with soccer. I think that soccer will have to be bumped to 7mate, when AFL takes priority on the main channel.

  2. “On Friday nights, Adam Cooney, Georgie Parker and Cam Luke will take on the match of the round as Armchair Experts.”

Georgie Parker of A Country Practice, All Saints and Home and Away fame? Not a name I expected to be popping up on an AFL show

    1. Different person – Georgina “Georgie” Parker (born 26 April 1989) is an Australian rules footballer and former field hockey player for the Hockeyroos.

  3. David, I just don’t get it why both Freo and Eagles were forced to play interstate. I think the stadium might not be ready due to other purposes. The Adelaide Oval had been recovered after a major concert event.
